Gymshark Pop Up Shop


On Saturday Gymshark had their 5th birthday celebratory pop up shop in London! I went with my sister Jess and had such a great day!!

We met up with some internet friends, made new friends, had lots of laughs, bought lots of new goodies and met some of our favourite people!!

All the athletes recognised me from bodypower/social media and Jazmine even ran up to me and knew my name, surname and everything!!

The whole atmosphere of the day was amazing because everyone was so like-minded and all had things in common. Everyone was so friendly and supportive!

We were also on Gymshark & Gymshark Women's instagram stories quite a few times which was fun!!

Go Ape!


One of my birthday present's from my friends was a trip to Go Ape! It's an outdoor, adventure activity that's high up in the trees! Three of us went and had the best time! It was the first part of my birthday 'party'!!

What a great thing to do for an active rest day!! It was so scary, I'm kind of afraid of heights, but sooooo much fun!! Definitely would recommend doing it or something similar!!

My 21st Birthday


Firstly, I apologise for the lack of posts last Friday & this Monday! I had a crazy busy weekend celebrating my mum's 50th and my 21st and this week have started back at my old job so haven't had time to even schedule any posts!

Secondly. there have been two new youtube videos up over on 'Appleton Fitness' so go check those out and subscribe if you haven't already!!

And now onto the post!! It's going to be very picture heavy! Friday was my mum's birthday so we went up to London, wandered around the Covent Garden area and then went to see Matilda in the theatre! It was such a lovely day, I love spending time with my family!!

Saturday was my 21st Birthday! We woke up, had Buck's Fizz (champagne and orange juice) and then, of course, went to the gym!! Then we went for afternoon tea (small sandwiches, scones and little cakes and more champagne) at a stunning hotel in the countryside. After that we came home and I opened my presents and we had cake! In the evening we went out for dinner at this nice local pub/restaurant! It was another perfect family day!!

How to balance it all


I have just finished my second year of university and reflecting back on the year I thought it would be useful to share my tips on how to balance it all. I know compared to some people, my life is not as hectic or busy but whilst working towards my degree, I am also studying for my personal training course, keeping up my fit lifestyle and running multiple social media accounts. YES I know it may not sound like a big deal (and no it's probably not) but posting regularly on multiple accounts is harder than you might think, it's a struggle to think of captions everyday! (okay I'm slightly being sarcastic, it could be worse). Many of my friends keep up jobs whilst at uni, I do not know how, they're incredible! Haha

Failure- Why it is important and how to learn from it


About a month before the first time I successfully deadlifted 100kgs, I gave it a go and failed, this was just one example of a time that I've failed in my journey. Yes, I was annoyed/upset at the time that I didn't manage it but it also gave me more motivation to work harder to achieve it!

On Saturday the 13th of May 2017, my sister and I attended the Bodypower expo in Birmingham, England.

We had the most incredible day! We met so many amazing people, people who inspire us and who we look up to and also people who are just starting their journeys like us!

This post will mostly be just pictures but I highly recommend you attend bodypower next year (we will definitely be there again next year!) if you haven't been before and are interested in health/fitness because it will really make you feel super motivated and excited to be a part of the fitness industry!
